Do you ever ask yourself how filmmakers are able to get a cast and crew or a whole production team for their film, well it all has to do with funding. What is funding?

Funding:  is the act of providing resources to finance a need, program, or project and how can filmmakers obtain financing for their film. There are two ways were films can be financed
  • Through a studio 
  • independently
Through a studio the company that is handling producing your film is tasked to figure out a way on how to get your film produced.

Now if you're funding a film independently know as an "indie film" you use personal networks for instance, tax credits, grants to patch funding together to make a film.

9 different ways you are able to fund for your film

  3. Pre-sales
  4. negative pickup deals 
  5. gap financing
  6. private investors 
  7. fiscals sponsorship 
  8. crowd funding
  9. product placement

  Research production in film has to deal with the companies that produce the film there are two types of ways film get produced "the bug six" and independent films called "indies". There are 5 ways to produce films or five phases of production.  using digital distribution has it's benefits for instance, transmitted via satellite, sent via broadband, virtually no shipping costs. a film can be distributed by a company that deals with marketing of the films that shown in general public  companies like (Netflix, Hulu ,amazon prime,etc.) exhibition has to deal with the cinema release of a film marks which has to deal with the final stage of the film process this is were the audience comes in exhibition is what put everything into one which has to deal with public screenings that deals with the pavement of their customers which effects screenings a movie theater is an example of a type of exhibition.  5 phases of production development which...
