technology and editing

 Technology

Editing: editing techniques like cutting, flashback, continuity editing and point of view editing were all used in my film to communicate some type of message.

  • Cutting-the actual joining together of two shots
  • flashback-a device in which the action cuts from the narrative present to a past event
  • continuity editing-a style of editing that seeks to achieve logic, smoothness, sequential flow, and temporal
  • point of view editing-an eye-line match cut that includes a P.O.V shot of what a character is looking at

post-production technologies

I learned how to edit using cap cut and we video these app have taught me to add effects to my video like stars, rainbow or flashing lights not only that but there were sections on how to adjust the speed, audio or music  of my videos and there rest were pretty simple to comprehend.

How I learned how to use technology:

Transitions,effects and titles:

Flashback, cut to and fade out black are different types of transitions that were used to create meaning. The flashback was employed to help viewers grasp the relationship between what happened in the past and what happened in the present.A cut to is a transition that is used to move from one shot to another.Fade out black is used at the end of a dramatic scene to indicate completeness, implying that a narrative notion has been completed because of conventions, titles such as my film's title, as well as the production title and credits, were all utilized.

and spatial orientation to what is seen on the screen

Bloopers and behind the scenes filming

behind the scenes: We filmed during this production week, and we have behind-the-scenes videos that reveal where our opening film setting is. However, behind-the-scenes videos do not always have to do with the actual setting of the movie; they could be about the process, such as the director, camera or Steadicam operator, producer, and many others, but for my filming process, we have videos of where my opening scene will take place. Bloopers : Unfortunately, mistakes will be made during filming, and getting a flawless shot on the first try is difficult. Even if we don't make a mistake, we sometimes want a shot to appear a certain way so we can either archive it or turn it into a blooper. During my film making process, there are several bloopers. funny moments:   Please do not misunderstand me. Filming was enjoyable, but it was difficult to stay focused because we were having so much fun. We did get all of the shots we needed, but there were a few funny moments and eveni...
