Compare and contrast

  • comedy genre: In comedy films, the dialogue is more humorous with far more jokes compared to other genres. This genre is more lighthearted and may not used dark lighting as much unless it was a horror comedy film.
  • horror genre: Horror films are similar to sci fi and mainly is trying to scare or put fear into their viewers. The setting in this genre could be in places like haunted houses, abandon places, woods, etc. As part of makeup there would use blood, and cast may wear darker clothing. The characters tend to be monsters, killers, or frightening and mysterious people or objects. The lighting is more darker and as props there are weapons such as knives. It also uses suspenseful background music. There tends to be a battle between good and evil. The antagonist would tend to have a specific background sound use whenever they appear on the scene
  • sci-fi genre: In sci fi films, the setting tends to be in outer space, future, past, or time travel. It the setting is set in the future then viewers would tend to see advance technology, and robotic appliances.  The characters tend to be robots, aliens, unusual objects or people from the future or past. Sci fi movies tend to be more mysterious since the film is mainly about something out of this world, new or unusual to the characters of the film. This genre is also based on science.

Bloopers and behind the scenes filming

behind the scenes: We filmed during this production week, and we have behind-the-scenes videos that reveal where our opening film setting is. However, behind-the-scenes videos do not always have to do with the actual setting of the movie; they could be about the process, such as the director, camera or Steadicam operator, producer, and many others, but for my filming process, we have videos of where my opening scene will take place. Bloopers : Unfortunately, mistakes will be made during filming, and getting a flawless shot on the first try is difficult. Even if we don't make a mistake, we sometimes want a shot to appear a certain way so we can either archive it or turn it into a blooper. During my film making process, there are several bloopers. funny moments:   Please do not misunderstand me. Filming was enjoyable, but it was difficult to stay focused because we were having so much fun. We did get all of the shots we needed, but there were a few funny moments and eveni...
